Art Drolette

 

Arthur Ovide Drolette, who would have celebrated his 90th birthday on August 2, 2015, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015.

Art is a decorated WWII veteran who served in the U.S. Navy and spent over 30 years at RJ Reynolds. He is a founding member of the Fresno Dixieland Jazz Society and helped raise scholarship funds for young musicians.

 

Mr. Drolette is survived by his three children, Linda Pipkin, Carol Kilburn and John Drolette; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great grand-children.

 

A Celebration of Life was held at

College Community Congregational Church, July 18, 2015, at 11:00 a.m.
